Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy. A gentle stream of warm liquid such as oil or buttermilk is poured through a stream onto the third eye chakra and rest of the forehead, flowing back and through the hair.

My own experiences with Shirodhara come from my time in India, receiving the treatments when I was overstimulated and/or exhausted. Shirodhara defragments the mind, both relaxing and awakening you. After every treatment I felt more clear, present and ready to take on the rest of my adventures.
